Caucasus Azärbaycan (Azerbaijan) - Silver Metallic Embroidery on Velvet

Silver Metallic Embroidery on Velvet from Azärbaycan (Azerbaijan). Made in two pieces and joined together. No idea where it was used or made for. But it was kept very well and in great condition. It has 6 pointed stars and pinwheels all around major motifs which resemble long life and continuation of life. It was attributed to the Jewish community north of Baku by some locals; however, this is likely due to the presence of the 6 pointed star, a symbol long used by Oğuz tribes.
