Central Asian Tocikston (Tajikstan) – Laqay (Lakai) Silk Embroidered Suzani

Fine silk chain-stitch embroidery on fine cotton. Blossoming flowers all around. Some natural colors and some chemical ones. Laqay (Lakai) groups live all around Türkistan (Central Asia), but most live in south Tocikston (Tajikstan) and northeast Afğanistan (Afghanistan). A few tiny, invisible stains and wear. There is one tiny hole patched on the background fabric. 

It is dated between the 1950s and 1960s
