Ottoman era antique silk and metallic embroidered Christian textile from Edirne or Istanbul, Türkiye (Turkey). It has continental cross stitch embroidery on what is most likely linen. It is probably a depiction of the double-headed Byzantine eagle that was a symbol of power and sovereignty. A trefoil between eagles in the lower part.
