Central Asian Özbekistan (Uzbekistan) - Tåşkent (Tashkent) Silk Plangi Textile

Silk Plangi Tie-dye and Hand-painted Silk Textile from Tåşkent (Tashkent), Özbekistan (Uzbekistan). A traditional art of Özbekistan in Tåşkent that is based on the use of natural colors and old methods of tie-dying on hand-loomed very fine silk. Here we see a strong yellow as a base color. It is probably dyed from weld and onion skins. In good condition besides a few little, light, and tiny tears shown in the images. It is four panels put together.
