Ottoman Silk Embroidery Hanging from Türkiye (Turkey). Classical blossoming carnation motifs. It survived some hard times. Silk chain stitch on linen. Matted on a black cotton for canvas framing. It has some brown sprinkles but they are cleaned as much as it can be and now they are very pale, not noticeable from 4 – 5 feet. Original colors faded from seeing too much light. It has great muted color combinations now. It will decorate a space very innocently.

It is dated to the 19th century or earlier
