Plangi hand-loomed silk on silk textile from Tåşkent (Tashkent), Özbekistan (Uzbekistan). A traditional art of Özbekistan around Tåşkent, based on the use of natural colors and old methods of tie-dying on hand loomed very fine silk fabrics. Here we see a cochineal dye as a base color along with light mustard yellow and purples. Four panels sewn together.

It is dated between the 1930s and 1940s
