Silk Ikat Adras Fragment from Buxårå (Bukhara), Özbekistan (Uzbekistan). Adras Ikats are a mixture of 50 % silk warps and 50 % cotton wefts, which gives its body to the fabric and makes it last longer. They are usually woven 300 – 500 feet / 100 – 150 meters long. This piece has a more modern design. Such older ikats have over 4000 warp yarns.

It is dated between the 1920s and 1940s
