Gurkani (Mughal) Style Embroidered Prayer Hanging from Bhärät (India). Fine silk and metallic embroidery with fish scale and Gurkani floral designs. Survived in good hands. The shape of the Niche or Mihrap is in the tomb stone form of the classical period. It has silk and metallic woven backing.

It is dated to the 19th century
