Lakay (Lakai) Silk Embroidered Pigtail from Central Asian Özbekistan (Uzbekistan). From very fine silk chain-stitch embroidery with traditional Lakay floral and zoomorphic motifs. It features natural colors from vegetable dyes. This was made in an old style as revival art after the Soviet breakdown. It has Adras silk ikat backing.

It is dated between 1995 and 2000.
