Central Asian Özbekistan (Uzbekistan) - Buxårå (Bukhara) Silk Velvet Chapan

Silk Velvet Çåpån from Buxårå (Bukhara), Özbekistan (Uzbekistan). This çåpån was designed as a revival of antique ones. The silk velvet was woven in high quality, just as they did in older days with natural saturated colors. It does not have lining like in older samples. This way, it can be worn in Spring and Fall as well as in Winter months. Adras silk ikat was used for its facing.
