Antique Silk Ikat Çåpån (Chapan) from Farğåna (Fergana), Özbekistan (Uzbekistan). Made from Adras silk Ikat. Rare pistachio green color with bold designs. Lined with floral design roller printed Rus (Russian) cotton and silk Ikat facing with applied egg whites. Most of its parts still bear egg white treatment from its early days. It can still be worn on special days.
