Central Asian Özbekistan (Uzbekistan) - Buxårå (Bukhara) Silk Lakai Head Piece

Lakay (Lakai) Silk Embroidered Headdress Component from Buxårå (Bukhara), Özbekistan (Uzbekistan). Very fine silk embroidery with saturated natural colors. They were a little longer and are possibly missing 10″ – 12″ /25 cm – 30 cm from the bottom. They were saved by their previous owner who used old ikat to back them. Floral design has stylized coronations and pomegranates. They are attached to a roundel part to fit over the head.

It is dated to the 19th century
