Central Asian Özbekistan (Uzbekistan) - Tåşkent (Tashkent) Silk Suzani

A Silk Embroidered Sozana (Suzani) from Tåşkent (Tashkent), Özbekistan (Uzbekistan). A traditional silk sozana with fine chain-stitch embroidery on a hand loomed Adras ikat. Features a classical Tulip and Carnation design. Natural colors from vegetable dyes. The edge of all four sides are hemmed with Adras ikat.

It is dated between 1995 and 2000.
