Soviet era Ceremonial Silk Shawl from Türkmenistan (Turkmenistan). Large 9 pointed star in the center, filled with silver ornament designs, birds, tribal portraits of women, and horsemen playing polo. It has a tiny hole, not easily visible. 

Dated between the 1960s and 1970s
