Silk velvet Ikat from Marğilån (Margilan) in Farğåna (Fergana), Özbekistan (Uzbekistan). Marğilån became the center of velvet Ikat weaving after the Soviet break down in 1991. Özbek (Uzbek) people have rapidly returned to their textile arts, producing great ikats and their famous Suzani embroideries.
