Central Asian Afğanistan (Afghanistan) - Ärsarı (Ersari) Türkmen Embroidered Hat

Türkmen Ärsarı (Ersari) Silk Embroidered Hat from Afğanistan (Afghanistan). Many Ärsarı tribes are living in North Afğanistan. They all weave their own rugs and textiles. Overall silk lacing embroidery on cotton. Saturated natural colors from vegetable dyes. Red maybe not natural. Traditional motifs and loop-manipulation trim with Rus printed-cotton lining. It is in super condition with great patina.

It is dated between the 1940s and 1950s.
