South Asian Bhärät (India) - Gucärät (Gujarat) Silk Embroidered Hat

Silk Metallic Embroidered Hat from Gucärät (Gujarat), Bhärät (India). We assume this is from the Gucärät province of Bhärät. Very fine metallic and silk threads embroidered in a skillful way. Top part divided into 4 sections. It probably belongs to one of the Muslim communities. Clover-like six paddle flowers are covering the sides and top. Hand loomed cotton lining. Used but in very good condition. Complete metallic embroidery trim.

It is dated between the 1920s and 1930s
