Dervish Kolah Felt Hat from Esfähan (Isfahan), İran (Persia). This is an unfinished dervish hat from Esfähan, made of a well pressed wool felt. It says – YOO ALI I am a follower. The other side says: Ali – His excellency – you are the beloved and truth. It never got the chance to have embroidery done on it. All embroidery work used to be done by male dervishes. The lower trim border does not have a drawing.

It is dated between the 1990s and 2000s
