Central Asian Afğanistan (Afghanistan) - Ärsarı (Ersari) Türkmen Embroidered Hat

Türkmen Ärsarı (Ersari) Silk Embroidered Hat from Afğanistan (Afghanistan). Many Ärsarı tribes are living in North Afğanistan. They all weave their own rugs and textiles. Fine silk and strong metallic running and couching stitch embroidery. Extremely strong construction can be seen. Lined with two colored cotton. They can be decorated with small beads, glass buttons, and even small tassels. It has a small green side tassel.

It is dated between the 1960s and 1970s.
