Central Asian Özbekistan (Uzbekistan) - Xårazm (Khorazm) Xiva (Khiva) Hat

A Türkmen (Turkmen) hat from Xiva (Khiva), Özbekistan (Uzbekistan). Upper Amu Därya in the Xårazm (Khorazm) area. Amazing metallic embroidery mixed with some glass beads. The lower rim has a metallic woven band surrounding it as trim. It has lining in its center part with a much older gilt printed fabric. It was used but it is in almost perfect condition.

It is dated between the 1940s and 1950s.
