South Asian Bhärät (India) - Käşmir (Kashmir) Wool Woven Hat

Cashmere wool twill weave tapestry dome hat from Käşmir (Kashmir), Bhärät (India). Twill tapestry and hand loom textiles come from Käşmir. They made various clothing and garments with such wool and brocade fabrics. We see here a religious hat made of recycled old wool hand loomed textiles. The body of the hat is made of antique triangle twill woven fragments. Lining is a very fine hand loomed cotton.
