Central Asian Özbekistan (Uzbekistan) - Çowdur (Chowdur) Silk Embroidery Hat

Çowdur (Chowdur) Türkmen (Turkmen) tribal hat from Özbekistan (Uzbekistan). Silk embroidery on quilted cotton with traditional Çowdur motifs and natural dyes. Lined with hand loomed cotton and partly with printed Rus fabric. It was used for a short time and survived in good hands.

It is dated between the 1940s and 1950s
