Middle Eastern Türkiye (Turkey) - Edirne Istanbul Embroidered Christian Hat

An embroidered Christian hat from Edirne or Istanbul, Türkiye (Turkey). It probably belongs to one of the Orthodox groups around the vicinity of Istanbul. We see various silk embroidery Cross signs in between 6 pointed stars on the sides. Dome is also decorated with a Cross and short silk tassel. Silk embroidery is done on a very fine cotton that feels like silk. Hand embroidered silk trim.

It is dated between the 1950s and 1960s
