Central Asian Afğanistan (Afghanistan) - Ärsarı (Ersari) Türkmen Embroidered Hat

Türkmen Ärsarı (Ersari) Silk Embroidered Hat from Afğanistan (Afghanistan). Ärsarı double lacing stitch embroidery on a quilted fine cotton. Natural colors from vegetable dyes. Traditional Türkistan designs with printed cotton lining and a silk embroidered trim.  

It is dated between the 1920s and 1930s.
