Middle Eastern İran (Persia) - Türkmensäxra Yomut (Yomud) Embroidered Hat

Yomut (Yomud) Embroidered Hat from Türkmensähra (Turkmensahra), İran (Persia). Silk lacing embroidery on quilted silk and a cotton foundation with a large “Pinwheel” motif which wished for the owner to have a long life. There are many Turkic tribes living in north east İran.

It is dated to the 1960s
