Yomut (Yomud) Embroidered Hat from Türkmensähra (Turkmensahra), İran (Persia). Silk – cotton lacing embroidery on a quilted silk and cotton foundation with geometric motifs. Plain cotton lining and some natural dyes. There are many Türkmen tribes living inside the borders of North East İran, Golestan Province.

It is dated between the 1960s and 1970s.
