Bead Embroidered Velvet Hat from Qazaqstan (Kazakhstan). Qazaq people traditionally used felt hats in the past with silver and metallic embroidery on them; however, with industrial revolution, many fancy fabrics came out and they began using different materials for their hats. Embroidery with silver-wash metallic yarn on deep purple velvet with new diamond like cut stones. Features their traditional zoomorphic patterns. Russian printed cotton lining.
