Central Asian Özbekistan (Uzbekistan) – Şaxrisabz (Shahrisabz) Lakai Hat

Şaxrisabz (Shahrisabz) or Buxårå (Bukhara) Lakay (Lakai) Silk Embroidered Hat from Özbekistan (Uzbekistan). Continental cross-stitch embroidery with the traditional motif of the Buxara Xanlig (Bukhara Khanate). Mostly saturated natural colors. Darker ones were used mostly by men and lighter ones were preferred by women. Plain black cotton lining which shows a gentle use. However, it is in great condition.

It is dated between the 1950s and 1960s
