Central Asian Afğanistan (Afghanistan) - Tribal Metallic Embroidered Hat

Tribal Metallic Embroidered Hat from Afğanistan (Afghanistan). It has a meander ribbed metallic dome. The lower portion is covered with green cotton, which is then typically covered with a silk or cotton turban. The lining of these hats are almost always made of old paper and they only use flour as glue which is considered sacred in Islam. It was used for a while and has minor wears in its green cotton portion. A rare dome shape hat.

It is dated between the 1950s and 1960s
