Central Asian Altişähär (Xinjiang) – Uyğur (Uyghur) Embroidered Dopa (Doppa) Cap

Embroidered Uyğur (Uyghur) Men's Dopa (Doppa) Cap from Altişähär (Xinjiang). Features a finely embroidered and quilted surface. Fine couching and running-stitch embroidery. It has a black velvet trim. Traditional Uyğur floral embroidery on a dark green fabric with four lobed floral patterns. Plain red cotton lining. Used for short periods and in great condition.

It is dated from the 1970s to the 1980s.
