Central Asian Türkmenistan (Turkmenistan) - Yomut (Yomud) Silver Necklace

Antique gilded silver pendent with an old silver chain. Has a small turquoise and two red glass stones. It is in the style of an amulet necklace i.e. the tumar shape with shamanistic crescent moon motifs. A hallow silver box is on the back side where they usually kept talismanic belongings to protect themselves from evil and harmful acts.

Dated to the 19th century or earlier
