Central Asian Türkmenistan (Turkmenistan) – Oq-yay Gilt Silver Pendant Necklace

Oq-yay "Bow & Arrow" Gilt Silver Yomut tribe Pendant Necklace from Türkmenistan (Turkmenistan). It is decorated with table-cut carnelian stones and gilded plaques. They were made to be used as a pendant on boys' outfits to protect them from evil and misfortune. 

It is dated from the 1930s to the 1940s.
