Central Asian Afğanistan (Afghanistan) - Glass and Carnelian Bead Necklace

A glass, gilt metal, and carnelian bead necklace from Afğanistan (Afghanistan). Here we see a small choker necklace made of very attractive light bluish/ light turquoise color glass with some gilded wax beads in between and a center healing carnelian agate stone.

The gilt beads are antique Tocik (Tajik) beads 

The glass beads are dated to Late Antiquity 

Carnelian center bead is dated to Classical Antiquity
