Central Asian Özbekistan (Uzbekistan) - Buxårå (Bukhara) Gilded Silver Earrings

Ceremonial earrings with coral and turquoise stones. Buxårå (Bukhara) is one of the important metal art centers of Türkistan (Central Asia). Turkic-speaking groups have been in Buxårå since the early Late Antique period with the arrival of the Xuna (Huns). Probably from the mid-19th century. Survives in great condition.
