Middle Eastern İran (Persia) - Türkmensäxra Silk Embroidered Hat

Türkmen Silk Embroidered Hat from Türkmensähra (Turkmensahra), İran (Persia). Türkmen tribes live in Northern İran by the Türkmenistan border. Lacing stitch embroidery with zoomorphic motifs. It survived in good hands. It has great natural colors. Black and white fine embroidery trim with little motifs. Daisy/mustard yellow, pistachio green, and deep indigo have been used in harmony. It has some patina from use. Rus printed cotton lining.

It is dated between the 1930s and 1940s
