Central Asian Qazaqstan (Kazakhstan) – Bead Embroidered Wall Hanging

A Bead Embroidered Wall Hanging from Qazaqstan (Kazakhstan). This hanging features transparent glass bead embroidery on a velvet base stylized as wild tulips in a row. It may be a fragment, possibly of a Tuş Kiyiz. It has survived in good condition. Qazaq craftsmen are known for their metal art and glass bead embroidery. 

It is dated between the 1950s and 1960s
