Central Asian Özbekistan (Uzbekistan) – Låqay (Lakai) Tassels

Pair of silk Låqay (Lakai) Tassels from Özbekistan (Uzbekistan). Silk cross stitch embroidery. Long silk tassels with trade glass beads. Such hangings were used on bedding piles and as decorations for other parts of the living quarters.

Dated between the 1930s and 1940s
