Türkmen Ärsarı (Ersari) Silk Embroidered Hat from Afğanistan (Afghanistan). Kızıl Ayaq Türkmen ceremonial woman’s hat. Fine embroidery with traditional designs. Mostly natural colors from vegetable dyes. Orange color here may not be natural color. Cotton chain-stitch embroidered trim.

It is dated between the 1930s and 1940s.
