Middle Eastern Eränşähr (Persia) - Elite Style Necklace with Intaglio

I bought this seal as an authentic Säsäniyän (Sasanian or Sassanid) intaglio or seal from Late Antique Eränşähr (Persia). Now, I cannot say with absolute authority that anything is 100% authentic; however, I will say that I have seen thousands of intaglios, real and fake, and this one is too detailed to have been made by the usual suspects of modern and antique intaglio forgeries.

I've paired the intaglio with high quality pumpkin or melon-shaped corrugated quartz beads and solid bronze spacer charms. I had the chain special made in solid bronze by a craftsmen who made it by hand. It is technically called a "double ladder chain;" however, most people know it as a "Turkmen chain." This is because the Türkmen (Turkmen) tribes popularized its use throughout the Middle East and Central Asia. Of course, this chain did exist before them and was often used by the Greeks, Romans, and Persians, among other peoples. It would have been a common site in Eränşähr.
