Central Asian Afğanistan (Afghanistan) - Qırğız (Kyrgyz) or Ärsarı (Ersari) Hat

The silver headdress itself is antique and could belong to the Qırğız (Kyrgyz) in Afğanistan (Afghanistan). The headdress also closely resembles those of the Ärsarı (Ersari) Türkmen (Turkmen) of Afğanistan; supposedly, the coral dangles in front distinguish it as Qırğız. However, the Ärsarı could have just adopted them from the Qırğız. Honestly, I have seen many "Qırğız" headdresses that were actually designed by Ärsarı masters or tribesmen. The hat itself is newer and is definitely Qırğız. It is cotton lined with Atlas ikat silk.
