A bonnet like headdress, It would be placed under the head veil with a coin fringe across the forehead. Like the Şätweh (Shatweh), it was a rare headdress, and not everyone had one. It was often worn by the bride, but not a married woman. This sample of what is likely revival art is made of old Tatriz (Tatreez) or "embroidery" with what are likely replica mils that were used during the British Mandate and mother of pearl buttons, as well as fabric that may be from the äd-Diffäh äl-Ğärbiyyäh (West Bank) or Urdun (Jordan).
The tatreez embroidery is from the 20th century, but the piece as a whole was likely made recently.
