Central Asian Qazaqstan (Kazakhstan) - Silver Gilt Granulated Carnelian Necklace

A Gilded Silver Necklace with a Carnelian Stone and Granulation Work from Qazaqstan (Kazakhstan). The form of this necklace is inspired by Türkmen (Turkmen) art; yet, as a whole, it is unique to Qazaq jewelry. There is a chance that this particular necklace was made by the Qazaqs of Afğanistan (Afghanistan) as well. In fact, modern Ärsarı (Ersari) jewelers are also known to utilize similar styles when they produce their revival art.
