Balkan Ellas (Greece) - Possible Replica of Stefan Radoslav's Engagement Ring

A POSSIBLE replica of the text portion of Prince Stefan Radoslav's engagement ring. The original ring, discovered in the 1960s, is made of gold. Prince Stefan Radoslav, a Serbian royal, made the ring to commemorate his engagement to Anna Angelina Komnene Doukaina, the daughter of Theodore Komnenos Doukas, a claimant to the Roman throne. The text of the ring was inscribed in Greek in order to emphasize the prince's Greek origins. It read:

"This is the engagement ring of Stefan, an offspring of Duka, and thus, Anne from the Komnen family, receive him in your embrace"
