The Kuffät Fäätimä (كفَّات فَاطِمَة) or Kuffat Fatima is a type of traditional Bädäwi (Bedouin) tribal jewelry originating from Bäyt Lähm (Bethlehem), Filästin (Palestine). Specifically, it is said to come from the äl-Tä'äämirä (التعامرة) or Ta'amireh tribe. Typically, these have 30 hamsa pendants, but I have seen less, where they are often replaced by coins and/or beads. Although I call it a "necklace," it's really a headdress component that was only later converted into a necklace.
