Middle Eastern Türkiye (Turkey) - Hay (Armenian) Necklace

This kertanlig or gerdanlik (գերդանլիկ), an Armenian word derived from the Turkish word for "necklace," is from Van, Türkiye (Turkey). The Van area is the ancestral homeland of the Hay (Armenians), who used to live in the region. Today, Van is mostly inhabited by Kurds. This necklace was likely made in Van by a Hay master.
