Middle Eastern Filästin (Palestine) - Palestinian Şiriyyä (Sha'iriyyeh) Necklace

Very rare! From the äl-Xälil (al-Khalil) [الخليل] / Hebron area in Filästin (Palestine). These are known as Şiriyyä (Sha'iriyyeh) [شعرية] or "noodle" necklaces for their noodle-like shape. Restrung.

The only samples I can think of are in Hanan Karaman Munayyer's book: Traditional Palestinian Costume: Origins and Evolution, Figures 14.24 and 14.25.

The charms themselves are dated to the 19th or 20th century
