Caucasus Hayastan (Armenia) - Ancient Armenian Style Textile Fabric Print

A new print of an actual ancient Armenian textile pattern. While there are no physical samples of Late Antique or Medieval Armenian textiles, evidence of their existence can readily be found in the various illuminated manuscripts of medieval Armenia; notably, those observable in the miniature illustrations of the King Gagek Gospels. Although more examples exist, given the large corpus of materials concerning illuminated Armenian manuscripts, the ample material that can be extracted from the aforementioned gospel was more than sufficient for the faithful reconstruction of an Armenian-style Late Antique to Early Medieval textile pattern.

I actually reconstructed this specific pattern as part of a graduate project on Armenian material culture.

Cotton Silk Hybrid. I can also do Silk Twill, but I recommend the former for durability.
